Does anyone have two bikes with one account? Can you ride both bikes at the same time? Many people have the same question: can you have two peloton bikes on one account?
According to Peloton, $44/month Peloton All-Access Membership will allow you access to unlimited content across 1 Bike and 1 Tread and 1 Row per household.
Therefore, two of the same products in a household (i.e. two Bikes or two Treads) would require two separate memberships for content access on both devices.
But there is an opportunity. We have a another bike at lake house with only one subscription. Apparently, you can’t ride both bikes at the same time but can use one subscription for both bikes.
How To Use The Same Peloton Account On Two Bikes And Tread
Peloton allows you to pay for a SINGLE subscription (not the same as riders/profiles) if you own a Bike and Tread. Subscription is the $44 per month fee. The subscription also gives you full access the Digital App on Apple IOS and Android.
If you own 2 bikes, they tell you that you are required to have two separate monthly subscriptions. While this is TRUE if you want to ride both bikes at the same time, it’s NOT true if you are riding bikes at different times and workouts do not overlap. An example is if you have a bike in your primary residence and a 2nd bike at a vacation home. With a SINGLE subscription, when you log into your 2nd bike, it will “pull” the subscription from your primary bike and allow you to ride the local bike and use your profile. When you go back to your primary residence, the subscription gets pulled back to your primary bike and disables the 2nd bike.
Note: All you do is log into the new bike any it pulls your subscription from the other bike. Takes an extra 60 seconds every time you switch bikes.
Final Word
We have two bikes. Because my hubby and I ride at the same time, we need two memberships so that they are both active. However, if you’re only going to use one bike at a time, you can just have the one. The downside is you’ll have to be logged out of one bike to have the other usable.
