In the Peloton community, there are many ways to connect with the leaderboard names you already know and the friends you already love. Get to know the top Peloton community feature “Peloton Follow” that keeps you connected to others every time you take a Peloton class.
What does it mean to follow someone on Peloton?
The “follow” feature allows you to build connections with other riders in the Peloton community. When you decide to follow someone, you then have the ability to see when they are riding OD or Live rides.
When you log into your profile, you’ll see a message on the bottom of the screen saying “X of your friends are working out now – See classes”. At this point, you can join the same class and start to ride with them. Or you can simply go about your way and select your own ride.
Once you select to FOLLOW someone, you’ll be notified on the LEFT side of the screen, that this user has joined the class and you’ll have the ability to directly High Five them. They’ll also get notification if you also join the class.
The Leaderboard allows you to set several filters, one being “Following”. With this selected as the filter, you can see all the riders you are following. At any time during the ride, if you see they’re kicking butt, you can click on their NAME and up will pop all of their stats including resistance and cadence. If they’re kicking your butt, you’ll know why because likely one of these two is higher than yours. Time to kick it up a notch! If it’s OD, you’ll also see how far along they are in the length of the class by the circle around their icon.
How do you follow someone on Peloton?
To follow someone, simply touch their name on the leaderboard and then up will pop a box with all their statistics.
Simply touch the +FOLLOW under their name to follow them.
Can you follow celebrities on peloton?
Yes, you can follow celebrities on the peloton. Here is the list of celebrities’ leaderboard names.
When you hit “follow” on a celebrity you wish to follow on the leaderboard, it will indicate “requested” because some celebrities have chosen to keep their profiles private. Follow requests will appear in their follower list. In such a situation, You must request and be accepted to follow them.
Can anyone follow you on Peloton?
By default, your profile is set to public. This means that other Peloton Members can search for you, view your profile and workouts, and follow you. If you’d prefer to limit your Peloton circle, you have the ability to set your profile to private in your settings.
How do I see who follows me on Peloton?
If you go to your profile on the touchscreen, the website, or the mobile app, you can see who is following you by tapping the ‘Follower’.
What can Peloton followers see?
This would allow followers to view your workout history, overall profile, classes you’ve done, and workout times whenever they log in to their Bike, Tread, or app. As well as some information about your workouts, such as metrics for each workout, and any achievements earned.
Can Peloton followers see your weight?
Height and weight are optional parameters that estimate workout calories. These fields are private and can only be seen by you. Followers on Peloton can’t see what you weigh. Also, the Leaderboard doesn’t show your weight.
How to hide Peloton workouts from followers?
After logging in, choose Preferences, then Settings, by clicking the vertical ellipsis in the top right corner. Select “Make Profile Private” from there. And from ‘Activity Feed Privacy’, you can set the box to “Just Me”.
How do you stop people from following you on Peloton?
If your profile is set to private, other Peloton Members can find you and can request to follow you, but they won’t be able to see your entire profile or workout information unless you accept theirs follow request. Tap ‘Follow’ or ‘Delete’ to approve or decline a request.
How to Remove a Follower?
On your bike’s touchscreen, click the trash can icon next to a follower’s name to delete them.
Touch the ellipses next to the follower’s name, and then tap ‘Remove’ to remove them from the Peloton app or website.
